UGNAYAN SA FALDEF

As part of its 2010 program, FALDEF, in cooperation with FILAM community organizations, is launching its first community outreach program on August 20, 2010, from 6 p.m. -9 p.m., at the LOVING LIFE LEARNING CENTER, 4 West 43rd Street, New York, New York 10036



UGNAYAN SA FALDEF, from the Tagalog root word UGNAY or link; means " linking with "FALDEF. Through this link with the community, FALDEF aims to reach out and serve the FILAM community to the best of its ability while maintaining the community's awareness of FALDEF's statutory objectives. .
Under this program, there will be volunteer-lawyers on Immigration law from FALDEF and the FILAM community, who will try to explain and clarify, on a one on one basis, your questions or issues on Immigration Law. The outreach program will be divided into 3 one-hour segment or schedule. Each hourly schedule will be manned by at least 4 volunteer lawyers, who will service the community present. To accommodate as many as possible, the outreach program is scheduled to start at 6 p.m. and to end at 9 p.m.

In this connection, we are inviting all members of the Filipino Community not only in NJ, NY and CT but every where at the UNGNAYAN SA FALDEF to avail of the services of volunteer lawyers in the practice of Immigration Law, who are available and willing to provide pro-bonotheir time and expertise for the community, between 6 pm to 9 pm. on August 20,2010 at the Center.

WHY: Volunteer-Lawyers are on hand to answer your questions and issues on Immigration Law.
WHO: Any member of the Filipino community, who has questions or issues on Immigration Law, is invited.
